About Me

¡Bienvenidos!

¡Hola! My name is Christina. I am a high school Spanish teacher from Long Island, New York.

I absolutely love teaching Spanish and sharing my passion for the language and culture with my students. My goal is to create an engaged classroom where my students learn about the Spanish language and Hispanic culture while having fun!

I have been interested in learning languages for as long as I can remember. I have always wanted to study and better my Spanish to connect with my family’s heritage and learn more about our culture.

My focus is to create an engaged classroom where learners are using the target language, genuinely interested in what they are doing, and most importantly, having fun! I like to do this through a variety of activities including: games, choice boards, and various reading activities.

I started this blog to create a collaborative space where I can share ideas and learn from other educators. There is an amazing online community of educators and I would love to connect with others and share ideas.
